getting there
BY CAR
There are a number of car parks in the city centre, the closest being the NCP multi-storey on Orchard Street, a 2 minute walk from Volcano (we recommend pre-booking as this will be cheaper than paying on the day). There is also a large free car park in Park Tawe Retail Park, which is a 10 minute walk from Volcano (NB: maximum 4 hour stay in Park Tawe car park).
BY RAIL
Swansea train station is a 5 minute walk from Volcano; upon exiting the train station, continue down High Street (past The Grand Hotel), and Volcano will be on your right.
BY bus/COach
Swansea Bus Station is in the Quadrant Shopping Centre, and is a 15 minute walk from Volcano.
ACCESSIBILITY
The event will be held on the ground floor of Volcano Theatre, is wheelchair accessible, and has a disabled toilet. The toilets are in the room adjacent to where the zine fest will be taking place. We aim to make our event autism friendly, and we provide a quiet room which contains stim toys for any attendees who wish to use it. AMENITIES
Volcano will be selling hot and cold drinks and snacks throughout the day.
There are plenty of convenience stores and restaurants along High Street if you want to get food and drinks elsewhere, and if you head into Swansea city centre there are loads of fast food outlets, shops, restaurants, and coffee shops.
There are also a few cash machines along High Street.
